We are pleased to announce our first Chef’s Table event at Branca Restaurant in Walton Street, Oxford which we will be holding every Thursday in January and hopefully beyond!

This is not a cookery lesson – instead it is your chance to dine and experience the new individual spaces in the extended Branca restaurant with our chefs cooking for you!

We think that this evening would make the perfect Christmas gift for someone special – just let us know and we can gift pack this to you.

First up is Yukiko – ” I am hoping that this menu will introduce you to flavour combinations that maybe you haven’t tried before and will thoroughly enjoy!”

Along with this traditional Japanese menu we have acquired some rare Japanese sake for you to try that you certainly won’t find in any bar in Oxford!


Leek and miso tart

Wasabi gravlax with Kohlrabi salad topped with seaweed & bonito flakes

Grilled shitake mushrooms with teriyaki chicken

Sushi rolls – Makizushi, Temarizushi and Shikai-maki selection

Macarons with Japanese flavours – Yuzu, azuki or matcha

Authentic Imported Japanese Sake

Availability as at 26th November is:

7pm – 10 spaces / 8pm – 2 spaces / 9pm – 15 spaces!

There will be 3 sittings  – 7pm, 8pm and 9pm  (once you are seated the table will be yours for the rest of the evening!) – please indicate when booking which time you would like to book for.  There will be a maximum of 15 (approximately) in each sitting.  The price includes several glasses of wine with your meal.  Please let us know of any allergies or special dietary requirements at time of booking, thank you!
