Street food is an Indian institution. Everyone has their favourite Chaat vendor; dishing out mouth-watering snacks from dawn ‘til dusk. In this class we’ll learn to make several classic street food dishes you’d find on the kerbsides of India.
- Bhel Puri – crunchy puffed rice mixed with chutneys
- Vada Pav – the ultimate Mumbai street food; fried spicy potato ball
- Papri Chaat – flaky pastry crackers with yogurt, spices and chutney
- Achari Paneer Tikka – grilled paneer marinated in pickling spice
We’ll also make the three quintessential street food chutneys: dry garlic, tamarind-date and vibrant green coriander-mint chutney – the perfect accompaniments. Finish the meal with a warming masala chai and lime soda!
